During my time as a free-lancer under the name of Neptoon studio, I had the pleasure of working with a client who wanted to establish a strong brand identity for their new barbershop. They came to me seeking a unique logo, business cards, and an invoice design that would set their business apart and resonate with their target audience.
I began with an in-depth consultation to understand the client's vision, style preferences, and business values. They emphasized a modern yet classic aesthetic, blending traditional barbershop elements with a contemporary twist. After gathering insights, I brainstormed and sketched various concepts, ensuring I captured the essence of their brand.
For Saints Barbershop, I crafted a distinctive logo that embodied a classical theme, featuring a refined illustration of a bearded man. The design aimed to evoke a sense of tradition and quality, aligning with the timeless appeal of a classic barbershop. I also created a custom font to complement the logo, ensuring a unique and cohesive brand identity.
I began by studying the "Old English" font, appreciating its intricate details and historical significance. To give the logo a fresh and unique feel, I decided to modify the traditional "Old English" elements, To further enhance the logo, I introduced "Cinzel," a font inspired by classical Roman inscriptions. "Cinzel" provided a perfect balance to the modified "Old English" elements, adding a sense of sophistication and readability.
With a clear direction in mind, I moved to the digital drawing board. My initial designs featured sleek barber poles, straight razors, and sophisticated typography. After a few rounds of revisions and client feedback, I crafted a polished logo that perfectly encapsulated their brand: a stylish, modern emblem with a nod to classic barbering traditions. The final logo boasted a clean, bold design that would look striking on storefronts, social media, and merchandise.
Business Cards
I had to create businness cards that complement the new logo. I selected high-quality card stock and a color palette that mirrored the barbershop's interior decor. The layout was sleek and professional, featuring the logo prominently with essential contact information. I added a subtle texture to the cards, enhancing their tactile appeal and ensuring they left a lasting impression.
Invoice
For the invoice, I created a clean, organized template that reflected the barbershop's brand identity. The design was user-friendly, featuring the logo and contact details at the top, followed by clear sections for itemized services, prices, and payment information. I ensured the invoice was both aesthetically pleasing and functional, making it easy for the client to manage their business transactions.
Upon approval, I provided the client with high-resolution files of the logo, print-ready business cards, and a customizable invoice template. I also offered guidance on printing options and digital usage to ensure the branding elements maintained their quality across different mediums.
