Project Scope
For the Tales project, the focus was on developing a strong and cohesive brand identity that reflects the company’s commitment to creative storytelling and engaging design.

Design Process

For the logo of Tales, I wanted to capture the essence of storytelling through a unique and symbolic design. At the heart of it is a whale’s tail, symbolizing adventure and the limitless imagination found in every story. Above the tail, I placed an outline of a book to ground the logo in the literary world. Beneath the whale’s tail, the name “Tales” is displayed in a font that brings balance and clarity to the design.

The process began by exploring symbols that represent the magic of books and the spirit of discovery. The whale’s tail emerged as the perfect metaphor for exploration, while the book outline framed the journey. After refining multiple iterations, I arrived at the final logo, which I feel perfectly embodies Tales’ mission to inspire creativity and transport readers to new worlds.

Business Card Design
I designed the Tales business card to reflect the brand's creativity and professionalism. Using a color palette of salmon pink and navy blue, I balanced clean typography with artistic elements. On the back, I illustrated a moon to symbolize the whimsical and imaginative spirit of Tales, creating a card that’s both memorable and visually striking.

2. Digital Campaigns

Digital campaigns are key to driving engagement and building a strong online presence. For Tales, I created an Instagram carousel and email marketing mailer designed to spark interest and connect with the audience. These campaigns aimed to capture attention, encourage participation, and showcase the brand’s creative spirit in a visually engaging way.

The Great Race: Events at Gaza Library
For Tales, I created an email marketing campaign titled "The Great Race" to promote exciting events at Gaza Library. This campaign was designed to engage the local community and encourage participation, featuring a vibrant, visually appealing layout. By showcasing the library's events in an inviting way, the email aimed to spark interest and drive attendance, all while maintaining the engaging, creative spirit of Tales.

Instagram Carousel: Starting a Reading Challenge for Tales
For Tales, I designed an Instagram carousel to launch a fun and engaging reading challenge. The carousel featured visually captivating slides that encouraged followers to join the challenge, read more, and share their progress. Each slide was crafted to spark excitement, using bright visuals and easy-to-follow prompts to guide participants along the way. This initiative was designed to create a sense of community and inspire more people to explore the world of Tales through reading.

For Tales, I designed engaging magazine layouts that bring the brand's storytelling essence to life. The designs focus on clean typography, dynamic imagery, and thoughtful layouts to create a visually compelling experience, perfectly aligned with the brand’s creative mission.

3. Editorial Designs

Magazine Cover Illustration
The Tales magazine cover features a humorous and whimsical illustration of a bear attempting to grab a loaf of bread to make a sandwich, while his mischievous son in the background munches on a book. This playful scene captures the lighthearted and imaginative spirit of Tales, connecting readers with the joy of storytelling. Every element of this cover, from the characters to the details, was illustrated entirely by me, showcasing my dedication to creating engaging and original visuals for the brand.

Illustration Process Video
This process video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Tales’ unique illustrations, including the tiger soaring on a jetpack and the whimsical magazine cover featuring a bear and his son. Every illustration was drawn entirely by me, highlighting my dedication to bringing the playful and imaginative world of Tales to life. The video captures the journey from concept to final artwork, showcasing my attention to detail and creative process.

Inside the Tales Magazine
This mockup showcases the Tales magazine, a 44-page publication filled with imaginative and engaging content. Each page was thoughtfully designed and illustrated by me to reflect the brand’s creative essence. The magazine includes vibrant visuals, fun stories, and unique layouts that captivate readers of all ages. From whimsical illustrations to dynamic compositions, the pages bring the world of Tales to life, inviting readers on a journey of exploration and discovery.

Conclusion
The Tales project allowed me to explore and develop a brand that celebrates the magic of storytelling through thoughtful design and creativity. From the whimsical logo to engaging digital campaigns and editorial layouts, each element was crafted to inspire curiosity and connect with readers.
