Project Overview
A client requested a complete branding package for his barbershop. The goal was to create a polished and professional identity that reflects the shop’s personality and values, catering to its diverse clientele on Bergenline Avenue, Union City, NJ.

Logo Design

For this barbershop project, I focused on crafting a distinctive logo that captured the essence of tradition and quality. Drawing inspiration from classic barbershop themes, I incorporated a refined illustration of a bearded man to evoke a sense of timeless appeal. To complement the design, I created a custom font, ensuring a unique and cohesive brand identity that resonates with the shop's heritage while standing out in a modern context. Below is a breakdown of my design process for creating the logo.

To create a unique typeface for the barbershop logo, I drew inspiration from the timeless elegance of Old English fonts and the clean, sophisticated lines of Cinzel. Combining the ornate details of Old English with the modern, geometric structure of Cinzel, I crafted a custom typeface that balances tradition with a contemporary edge. Starting with sketches, I refined each letterform to ensure it complemented the logo’s overall aesthetic while maintaining readability. The result is a bespoke typeface that adds character and depth to the logo, enhancing its classic yet distinctive brand identity.

The invoice design for the barbershop was created to reflect both professionalism and the brand’s distinct identity. Incorporating the logo prominently at the top, the layout balances clean lines and ample spacing for easy readability. The header features the barbershop’s name and contact details, while the main body includes clear sections for client information, services provided, and payment details. A monochromatic black-and-white color scheme ties it seamlessly to the brand’s aesthetic, maintaining consistency with the business cards and logo. The result is a polished, functional design that reinforces the shop’s commitment to quality and attention to detail.

The business cards for the barbershop were designed to exude sophistication and professionalism, with a bold yet minimalistic approach. The card features a sleek black background, allowing the crisp white logo and text to stand out with striking contrast. On the front, the logo takes center stage, framed by subtle stripes that add a touch of texture and visual interest, reinforcing the brand’s refined aesthetic. The back of the card is clean and straightforward, displaying essential contact information in the same white text for a cohesive look. This design ensures the cards are both memorable and easy to read, leaving a lasting impression on clients.
